<대한민국 광복절 74주년 기념식 및 한인도서관 개관 기념식(2019년 8월15일(목)>

오타와 한인 여러분, 안녕하세요!

벌써 7월이 지나가고 8월입니다. 8월에는 역사적으로 중요한 날과 또 다른 의미있는 날이 있는데요, 74주년 광복절 기념식과 처음으로 오타와에 설립되는 한인 도서관 개관 기념식이 있습니다. 광복절인 8월 15일에 광복절 기념식 행사와 한인도서관 개관 기념식을 1부와 2부로 진행할 예정이오니 여러분의 큰 관심을 부탁드립니다. 

자세한 정보는 아래에 있는 내용과 이메일에 첨부된 행사 포스터를 참고하여 주시길 바랍니다.

(1부) 기념식 및 개관식

□ 시간: 오전 11시 ~ 오후 1시
□ 장소: 주 캐나다 대한민국 대사관

□ 글짓기 & 그림그리기 대회 (아래 참조)

(2부) 기념이벤트

□ 시간: 오후 4시
□ 장소: 오타와 국회의사당 광장

“광복절” 이라는 주제어로 글짓기 & 그림 작품(초등)을 보내주세요!

8.15광복절 의미를 되새기고 기념하며, 한인으로서의 정체성을 높여주기 위해 오타와 지역에 거주하는 한인을 대상으로 합니다. 자세한 사항은 아래와 같습니다.

가) 글짓기

- 대상: 오타와에 거주하는 모든 한인 (초등학교 1학년 ~ 일반인)

- 주제: 학생 “광복절의 역사적 의미와 교훈” 등

 
         일반인 “광복의 의미”, “자랑스러운 대한민국” 등

- 형식: 에세이는 한국어 또는 영어 (100자~200자 이상)

나) 그림그리기 

- 대상: 오타와 거주하는 한인 초등학생

- 시상식: 오타와 한인도서관 (주캐나다 대사관 내 (구)세종학당건물)

- 시상내역: 최우수, 우수, 장려, 참가상 (*증서 및 상금)

Part I: Commemoration of the National Liberation Day of Korea with
The Opening Ceremony of the Ottawa Korean Library

a)
National Liberation Day or  Gwangbokjeol (광복절) is a Korean national holiday that is annually
commemorated in celebrating the end of the Japanese occupation of the Korean
peninsula since the August 15th, 1945. This year, it marks the 74th year of the
liberation and is also commemorated in North Korea as well.

b)
With great cooperation from the Korean Embassy and the Korean associations,
Ottawa Korean Library will be available to all the individuals that are
interested in reading and borrowing Korean books in all genres. The Opening
Ceremony of the Ottawa Korean Library will hope to initiate and establish the
continuous interests from the Korean-Canadian/Ottawa community.

Writing and Drawing Contest Awards Ceremony

Writing Contest: To be eligible, you must be a Korean-Canadian who resides in
Ottawa. With the topic in relations to the National Liberation Day, the
participants must write a very short essay written in Korean or English that is
100 to 200 words (or more if desired). A few examples in choosing the topic for
the students can be The historical significance of the National Liberation Day,
or Teachings that can be learned from the National Liberation Day. For the
adults, the examples can be The Meaning of National Liberation, or Proud Korea.
The submission deadline is Saturday, August 10th, 2019. To submit your essay,
please send it to ottkorea@gmail.com.

Drawing Contest: Only Korean-Canadian elementary school students that reside in
Ottawa are eligible. With the topic of the Korean National Liberation Day, the
participants can draw anything in its relations to the general topic. Please
bring your hard copy on the day of the event in Part I.

The winners of the Writing Contest and the Drawing Contest will be announced
and provided with prizes during the Awards Ceremony. The Awards will be divided
into First, Second, Best Encouragement, and Best Participant. ***
