On behalf of Sen. Yonah Martin, please find attached ‎an important News Release about support for families, through the Government's enhancement of EI compassionate care benefits (to provide additional financial security in their time of need caring for their loved ones). These measures will increase the number of weeks of CCB benefits from 6 weeks to 26 weeks, which can be taken within a 1-year period (up from 6 months).

The enhancements to the CCB benefits come into effect on January 3, 2016.

연아 마틴 상원의원님을 대신하여 보내드리는 첨부된 정부의 고용보험(EI)의 개선을 통한 특별 배려 보조 지원(사랑하는 가족을 부양해야 할 때 금전적 안정을 더욱 보장해주는 제도)에 관한 중요한 보도 자료를 참조해주시기 바랍니다. 개선될 특별 배려 보조 지원은 (현재는 6개월) 내에 받을 수 있는 6주의 혜택 기간을 1년 내에 최대 26주로 늘릴 것입니다.

혜택 개선은 2016년 1월 3일부터 시행될 예정입니다.
